The
California Writers Collective (CWC) began in 2005 by a
network of authors who came together from the San Francisco Bay and Los
Angeles areas to educate the public on the various aspects of writing
and publishing.
The California Writers Collective conducts writers workshops providing
information on manuscript writing, publishing alternatives, where and
how to copyright a creative project, and how to successfully market a
book. We also discuss trends in the publishing industry useful to our
attendees.
Our diverse
network of authors effectively address a wide range of topics providing
answers to questions for aspiring writers interested in getting their
work published. Book signings are often held in conjunction with the
workshops.
It is our hope to encourage and inspire as many new and beginning
writers as possible! All California Writers Collective writer's workshops are free and open to the
public. Please visit our workshop page for more information.
